I spoke to Tommy at the Tech dept. of this company, and asked him why did velocity shut down our website? and he did not know why exactly.. he just said that some site in our server was spamming and that was it.. he did not have info on which site it was exactly, he looked into it and he did not find the info why, he tried to contact the abuse dept. and he was not able to, I advised him that we need access to download the backups and he said
yes no problem but he doesn't know when and how long it will take until velocity gives us access to download it.
I had requested access 2 days ago to download the backups after they terminated the server and till now they have not given me access and all my customers are complaining that their site is down!!!
Never ever trust or do business with Velocity Web Hosting, they will make you wait and wait and at the end your customers will hate you, take my advise and go with a better more professional company.

Here is my review on HiVelocity, Hi Velocity SUX !
They turned off 4 of my servers without any notice and they failed to provide me with the backups, they totally screwed me.
don't ever trust them.
I heard they are going to go bankrupt, as soon as I heard that I decided to cancel with them right away and move my sites somewhere else.
you know what happens if they go bankrupt right? they will suddently shut down everything and all the money you paid them will not come back to you.
THESE PEOPLE TERMINATED MY SERVER AS WELL WITH NO NOTICE!!! I SHOULD HAVE RESEARCHED THEM AND FOUND THIS POST BEFORE I SIGNED UP :( I REGRET IT.
Anyone else has same problem???
Hi Velocity hosting company is a scam, I had a lot of problems with them as well! do not signup with them!!
Hopefully that many spammers signup with them! :)
they are really scam people.
Will someone take efforts to shut off this scam company.

They steal money from your credit card.
Never ever reveal your credit card info to them
